Hi, I’m Vanessa
I’m originally from Montreal and I moved to Saskatoon in 2012 and immediately started renovating properties with my husband Fraser who was already in the industry. We started renovating our personal single family homes with basement units. We were doing the renovations while both working full time jobs and living in the units. We did this to several of our own properties before starting to work on flip properties with investor capital. I know exactly how stressful living through renovations can be and how overwhelming all the choices can seem. My goal is to make you feel happy and joyful in your space while enjoying the renovation process.
After years travelling around the world as a flight attendant and always being inspired by different architecture and designs, I decided to follow my passion and go to school for interior design. After completing my diploma I went on to work at different firms in Saskatoon from which I built a solid background in kitchen and cabinetry design all while building great relationships with suppliers and contractors.
Designs by Vanessa was created to offer clients an easy and approachable way to access interior design. I believe everyone should live in a space that suits their taste and fits their lifestyle and budget.
